Seller note:

First Generation Kawasaki X2The X2 was Kawasaki's first mass-produced "sit on top" watercraft. Kawasaki began production on this PWC in 1986 and ended in 1995. This craft is small and light, weighing less than 300 pounds. The idea behind it was that up to 2 people would be able to sit though one rider standing up most often rides it. This craft has gained much respect in the stand up communities. Its unique handling characteristics make it highly sought-after by enthusiasts for its unique maneuverability, center of gravity and versatility of 1 or 2 passengers and being a design for sit down or stand up riding. Though "Jet Ski" is a Kawasaki trade mark the X2 was such a revolution to the personal water craft market that the term jet ski now refers to all personal watercraft much in the same way that all gelatin products are referred to as "Jell-O". The powerful and reliable 650 is considered one of the best engines in water sports with the longest production run. This 650 X-2 runs great. It has a fresh cosmetic make over with a black and yellow theme. It has a new battery. New paint is pretty much all it needed. No known mechanical issues. As with ANY boat you should have it inspected for first use of the season by a qualified mechanic at your local marina. This jet ski has been started twice in the past year, once when I got it, once in the video after paint 6/23/13. Little is known before that time but the previous owner never used it and said the original owner was a jet ski racer. He said that the motor was well maintained and it is very likely that it may contain upgraded power modifications. (Something Brothers Racing Team.) I do not know if it does or not one way or the other so it is being sold as "runs great" and if something extra powerful and expensive is lurking under the hood then good for you. No title but on older models in TN you do not need one. TN is a no title state. Sold with a bill of sale and that is just as good. If you plan to register it in another state other than TN I can not answer questions. My advice is to just make a call to your DMV BEFORE you buy. It was last registered in VA if you need to know that. The trailer is a custom built wood floor design sitting on a (as best I could tell) 70s Buick rear axel. Everything is new. New paint, 3 new tires, new winch, new jack, new electrics, new submersible lights. No issues. Unlike most jet ski trailers this trailer can also haul your lawnmower, ATV, four wheeler, golf cart etc. In TN, as long as a jet ski or boat is on a trailer it does not need a license plate. I have a complete photo album of the step by step work done to this jet ski over the past year if the buyer is interested. Sorry but I'm not emailing over 100 pictures to everyone out there dreaming about jet skis. Extras also included are 2 very large 30 ton ratchet tie downs (overkill but works great) and a blue jet ski cover with storage bag. No trades. Cash only. $1250 or best offer. I am a little flexible on that number. I got this project completed much later in the season than I originally expected and would rather take a few bucks less to just get the work space back in the driveway. I need it gone before I can start working on a truck in that space. I'm not going to give it away but if you have somewhere reasonably close to that number then stop by, check it out and make me an offer. Located behind ETSU in Johnson City TN just 5 minutes, 2 miles from the interstate. Easy to follow video directions available, just ask for the you tube link. If you have cash in hand, you are welcome and encouraged to come over and check it out in any way you like. Most of the time, my schedule is flexible enough to meet yours. Just let me know when you'd like to stop by. I look forward to meeting you. I keep my ads current. If you see this ad then it is still for sale. This ad will be deleted right after it rolls down the road and I can't see the tail lights. I will not "hold it" for you or anyone else. First to put cash in my hand gets it. No payments.
